4-star CB, top Georgia football target announces commitment decision

Four-star cornerback recruit Tae Walden Jr. has committed to the Oregon Ducks, per Rivals' Hayes Fawcett. Walden chose the Ducks over the LSU Tigers, Georgia Bulldogs, Ole Miss Rebels, and the Auburn Tigers

Standing at 6-foot-3, 165 pounds, Walden drew serious interest from the Bulldogs prior to announcing his Oregon commitment. Walden was one of the top remaining available cornerbacks from the class of 2027. The rising star would have been an excellent fit at UGA if he committed to Georgia. Walden took an official visit to Auburn (May 29), LSU (June 5), Georgia (June 12), Ole Miss (June 16), and Oregon (June 19). His trip to Eugene appears to have led to his Oregon commitment.
