4-star WR Sean Green announces commitment

Four-star wide receiver Sean Green committed to the Florida State Seminoles, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. The Georgia Bulldogs were widely regarded as one of the top potential landing spots for the instate talented receiver, but Green chose FSU to begin his collegiate career in 2027.

Standing 5 feet, 11 inches and 175 pounds, Green is a fast and athletic playmaker who should have no problem finding a role on the Seminoles’ offense should he stay true to his commitment. The receiver has put his talents on display throughout his first three seasons at Camden County High School. Green chose FSU over Georgia and Virginia, leaving the Dawgs to turn elsewhere in hopes of adding more wide receiver depth in the 2027 class.

Green is the No. 26 wide receiver and the No. 181 overall player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports rankings. He is the No. 16 player in Georgia. Green took an official visit to FSU on June 5, and the receiver wasted little time making his commitment decision following his visit to Tallahassee.

Georgia has targeted some of the top wide receiver talent from the class of 2027 recently. Five-star WR Eric McFarland recently added Georgia to his top three schools, and the Dawgs have also submitted a scholarship offer to three-star WR Seven Rashad as well.
