Throughout the San Jose Sharks' three-and-a-half decades of existence, only a single player has ever worn the number 69: Andrew Desjardins.

Desjardins, an undrafted player out of the Ontario Hockey League's Soo Greyhounds, joined the Sharks organization for the 2008-09 season as he signed with their AHL affiliate at the time, the Worcester Sharks.
