It’s series finale time between two very bad teams: the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Angels.

But on the bright side, we get to see lefty Carson Whisenhunt, who makes the start today. In two starts this season, Whisenhunt is 2-0 with a 3.38 ERA, a 4.89 FIP, and six strikeouts to six walks in 10.2 innings.

For the Angels, it’s right-hander José Soriano, who makes his 22nd start. He’s 8-6 on the year, with a 3.43 ERA, a 3.83 FIP, and 122 strikeouts to an AL-worst 54 walks in 118 innings. In his last start, he gave up two runs in seven innings against the St. Louis Cardinals.
