The Philadelphia 76ers played their final NBA Summer League game of 2026 Saturday night, a consolation matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. Unfortunately, Sixers fans were kept from a great matchup between two top guard prospects, No. 22 overall pick Labaron Philon Jr. and No. 10 overall selection Brayden Burries.

However, despite Philon Jr.'s absence from the lineup, it didn't rob Philadelphia fans of an exciting contest, as the Bucks and 76ers went back-and-forth before Milwaukee mounted a fourth-quarter comeback to earn a 96-94 victory.

French guard Gerald Ayayi shined the brightest for the Sixers, leading the team with 22 points on 7-for-13 shooting to go along with three assists, one steal and one rebound. Former Yale forward Nick Townsend impressed off the bench as well, tallying 15 points on 6-for-9 shooting in addition to four rebounds, one assist, one steal and zero turnovers.

Having finished the summer league with a 2-3 record, the 76ers will now turn their attention to preseason action before a well-awaited season opener in October, which will feature recent trade acquisition Jaylen Brown.
