Aleksey Batrakov Responds to PSG Links Amid Barcelona Interest
Paris Saint-Germain is known for wanting the best of the best on its roster, and when it comes to identifying young talents as prospects, it does not hesitate to act.
The summer transfer window is very close, and although PSG's board has not yet officially announced any interested party, the name of a young Russian is gaining traction.

According to French media, the most interested in this operation was Luis Campos, the sporting director of the Parisian club, and, with his approval, the Russian's agent gave the green light. Specifically, he recently said that there was a 95% chance that Batrakov would go to Paris.
But on Thursday of this week, Le Parisien reported that it is very unlikely that Paris Saint-Germain will move forward with the signing of Aleksey, since the young player has lost favor with the board.
The 20-year-old soccer player finally broke his silence on Friday in an interview with SPORT24, where he was questioned about an image circulating of him wearing a PSG jersey.

"I try to ignore it. Especially when they criticize me, and people write that I don't deserve it. If something happens between the clubs, the agents inform me. But for now, being with the national team, I have asked that nothing be said."

Although it is most likely that the player will not join the club, he maintains his respect and good wishes, especially for two players, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Matvey Safonov.
He even admitted that he was supporting PSG in the Champions League final because of Safonov.
About Kvaratskhelia, Batrakov said that he admires the Georgian's qualities, assuring that his skills speak for themselves.
