If you’re a Steelers fan to the point that even the preseason is must-see TV, a Tuesday ESPN press release came with some good news.

All three Steelers preseason games this August will be nationally televised live on NFL Network, a channel carried by many cable and streaming providers, as well as included in the NFL+ subscription plan.

As always, the games will be carried by the team’s preseason TV affiliates as well.

Steelers 2026 preseason schedule

• Preseason Week 1: Aug. 13 vs. Green Bay Packers, 7 p.m. EST, NFL Network

• Preseason Week 2: Aug 21 vs. New York Jets, 7 p.m. EST, NFL Network

• Preseason Week 3: Aug 27 at Buffalo Bills, 7 p.m. EST, NFL Network

Ultimately, the Steelers open and close their preseason schedule with a Thursday night game, with the middle matchup being a Friday night kickoff.

After the preseason, the Steelers will open their regular season with a home matchup against the Atlanta Falcons Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 13.
