Chapter 6. King Vogt sat in his throne at the Round Table, tapping his fingers impatiently as he waited for his knights to arrive. The circular table was divided into twenty-seven segments: King Vogt's at the head of the table, and twenty-six seats surrounding him, each bearing the name of one of his Guardians.
