The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.

Isaiah Adams background, 2025 season

Adams enters his third NFL season and third with the Cardinals. He was drafted in the third round by Arizona in 2024. He has been an on-again, off-again starter. He started five games to end his rookie season and began 2025 as the starting right guard. He was replaced by Will Hernandez but returned to the lineup after Hernandez got hurt last season. He started 11 games on 2025, playing 763 offensive snaps.

Isaiah Adams contract details, salary cap hit

Adams is in Year 3 of his four-year rookie contract worth just under $6 million. He is scheduled to make more than $1.3 million and will count more than $1.6 million against the salary cap.

Roster outlook, questions he faces

Adams' spot on the roster is not certain. He ran with the first-team offense in the spring, but rookie second-round pick Chase Bisontis is waiting in the wings and is expected to eventually start.

Adams likely will make the final roster at least as depth, as he can play both guard positions and had experience at tackle in college.

Can he hold off Bisontis for the starting job? If not the starter, will he still be on the roster, or will others replace him there as well?

It will be one of the camp battles to watch.
