AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (51-49)Sugar Land got the scoring started in the 4th inning on a Diaz 3 run home run. They picked up another run in the 6th inning on a Diaz groundout. Weiss got the start for Sugar Land and pitched well tossing a complete game (7 innings) shutout as Sugar Land won 4-0.

After the Sounds got a run in the top of the second, Sugar Land responded with an RBI double from Delgado. The teams exchanged runs again in the 6th with Biggio tying the game on an RBI single. Nezuh got the start and pitched well staking out 9 over 6 innings allowing 2 runs. The game went to extra innings and in the 8th, the Sounds scored 3 runs. The offense got one back in the bottom of the inning on a Biggio sac fly but that was it as they dropped game two 5-3.
Note: Nezuh has 90 K in 76 innings this season.

The Hooks got on the board in the 2nd inning on a Janek solo home run. They picked up another run in the third inning on an Austin RBI single. Mayer started for the Hooks and was dominant striking out 9 batters over 6 scoreless innings. The pen was great with Swanson tossing 2 scoreless innings and Santos closing it out with a scoreless 9th as the Hooks won 2-0.

Asheville got on the board in the first inning on a Frey RBI single. They picked up 3 more runs in the 4th inning on a Garcia RBI single, Powell RBI single and a run on a wild pitch. Smith got the start and went 6 innings allowing 4 runs with 4 strikeouts. Asheville got another run in the 6th inning on a Powell RBI single. The Hot Rods tied the game and forced extra innings. In the 10th, Asheville got a run on a Batista RBI single, but the Hot Rods tied it again. In the 11th, Asheville got 2 runs on a Neyens RBI single and a passed ball, but the pen was unable hold it as the Hot Rods walked it off.

The Woodpeckers got on the board in the first inning on a Sierra RBI single. They got another run in the third on a Sierra bases loaded walk. Perez started for the Woodpeckers but struggled allowing 6 runs over 5 innings of work. In the 6th, Nigh connected on a solo home run. Carrera tossed 3 scoreless innings to keep it close. The Woodpeckers got a run in the 9th inning on a Perez RBI single but that was it as the Woodpeckers fell 6-4.
