Baker Mayfield not practicing
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield (thumb) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 1.
Why it Matters: Mayfield is expected to miss about three weeks, so it will likely be a while before he resumes practicing in any capacity. Rookie Jalon Daniels is slated to start at quarterback, and while he offers the potential for some rushing stats, it is too risky to trust him in his first NFL start.
