Bangladesh protesters demand action over rising costs

The government of Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has faced its first major protests, with thousands marching over rising living costs. Demonstrators in Dhaka demanded action to tackle shortages of gas, electricity and fertiliser.
