Ollie Barratt missed out on a judo bronze medal in the men's -100kg after losing to Cameroon's Franck Ulrick Tahman Zan in the bronze medal final.

His opponent claimed two Waza-ari to seal the contest, with Barratt crestfallen on the mat with his head in his hands.

Josh Whitehouse, who celebrated his 25th birthday today, bowed out of the men's +100kg at the repechage stage.

Team Wales won no medals in judo at these Games.
