Bayer Leverkusen target two fullbacks

Kicker reports that Bayer Leverkusen are pursuing Olympique Marseille defender Facundo Medina for the left-back position while also considering KRC Genk's Zakaria El Ouahdi as a candidate at right-back.

Medina has emerged as a leading option to replace Alejandro Grimaldo following the Spaniard's move to Atlético Madrid. The Argentine international can operate both as a left-back and on the left side of central defence, offering Bayer a profile similar to former Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie.
