Bayern learn opponent for second round

Having beaten Osnabrück 4-1 on Wednesday in the first round the 2026/27 DFB Cup, Bayern will now face Magdeburg at the Allianz Arena as they continue their defence of the trophy. The draw for the second round was held on Saturday evening at the German Football Museum in Dortmund, conducted by Bayern legend Bastian Schweinsteiger. The ties will be played on 27/28 October 2026. The German FA will confirm the exact timings in the coming days.
