Bears safety Coby Bryant speaks out after knee injury

The Chicago Bears defense suffered a brutal blow when safety Coby Bryant was injured during Monday's padded training camp practice. He suffered a hyperextended knee, bone bruise and small fracture that's expected to sideline him 8-10 weeks.

Bryant, who signed a three-year, $40 million contract this offseason, will miss the Bears' season opener but is expected to return between Weeks 3 and 5. It's not ideal, but it's the best case scenario after Bryant's emotional reaction after he went down following a one-on-one rep against tight end Cole Kmet.
