Buccaneers’ Yellowstone bison attack NFL promo gets major backlash

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced heavy criticism after posting a social media video that used footage of the recent Yellowstone bison attack before cutting to NFL rookie receiver Tez Johnson completing a flip.

Carl Isom McDaniel, a 65-year-old grandfather from Washington, suffered severe injuries after a bull bison charged him at Yellowstone National Park on July 10. He intentionally drew the animal away from his grandson before being hooked and thrown into the air. McDaniel later underwent surgery after breaking his femur in four places.
