Bucky Irving turns in mediocre stat line
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving rushed 15 times for 46 yards in Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings, while adding two catches for 12 yards on four targets.
Why it Matters: The Bucs struggled to run the ball with any effectiveness against the defense of Brian Flores, averaging just 2.7 yards per attempt. That was bolstered by a late 9-yard run by backup QB Jalon Daniels, too, or it would have been worse. Irving should still be treated as a RB2 in most fantasy leagues, but he could face tough sledding in the short term, as QB Baker Mayfield went down with a dislocated right thumb, and he could miss time. As such, teams will stack the box and dare Daniels, or whomever else is considered under center, to throw.
