BVB signs Ethan Nwaneri on loan

Lars Ricken, BVB's Managing Director of Sports, explains: "By signing Ethan on loan, we've succeeded in bringing in a very talented and technically gifted midfielder. Given Giannis Konstantelias's extended absence, it was important for us to be able to strengthen our roster at short notice. For us, signing Ethan was the best possible solution from a sporting perspective. We're pleased that we were able to finalize this deal just before the transfer window closed."

Nwaneri joined the Arsenal Academy at the age of eight and progressed through the youth ranks there. In September 2022, he made his Premier League debut and, at 15 years, 5 months, and 28 days, became the youngest player in the history of England's top flight.
