Byron wins Big Northern Conference showdown in Dixon

DIXON, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The Byron Tigers demonstrated again Friday night that they are the team to beat in the Big Northern Conference this season after taking down the Dixon Dukes on the Dukes home field 26-13. As usual, the Tigers ripped off some big plays. Dylan Dach started it with an 88-yard touchdown run. Landon Bonvallet followed with a 62-yard touchdown run and Kole Aken added a 29-yard touchdown run. The Tigers' other touchdown came through the air on a pass by Denton Shank.Byron improves to 3-0 this season notching its 36th consecutive Big Northern Conference win. Dixon is now 2-1.
