Cameron Smith Crashes Out At Open De France

This week, the world's top golfers faced a brutal reality check at Le Golf National during the Open de France. While some names like Matt Fitzpatrick and Viktor Hovland are safe for the weekend, the tournament saw a surprising list of big names exit early. The event, which follows the BMW PGA Championship, usually attracts a deep field looking to add to their trophy cases.

Yet, after two rounds, the leaderboard tells a story of inconsistent play and costly mistakes. The cut line proved unforgiving for players who have dominated other tours, leaving fans wondering how top talent could falter so quickly on these French greens.
