Carson Cooper is one of the best stories going in basketball today. After starting as an unranked player out of IMG Academy, Carson Cooper developed into one of the best big men in the Big Ten. He showed an improved offensive game and strong defense last season for Michigan State. He parlayed that into a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies and a big role on their summer league team.

Cooper is playing in Salt Lake City with his Memphis Grizzlies squad, and he had a big day: 11 points, five rebounds, three assists, a block and a made 3. Cooper also had the biggest highlight play of the night, and it came at the expense of an old rival.
