Carson Kvapil Claims Pole at Darlington in Impressive Qualifying Run

Carson Kvapil is starting Saturday night's NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Darlington Raceway from the best possible position.

Kvapil delivered a huge qualifying lap Saturday afternoon, capturing the pole for the race at the famed "Lady in Black." The JR Motorsports driver recorded a 30.424-second lap at 161.636 mph, putting his No. 1 Chevrolet at the front of the field.
