Chargers Trending as Potential Landing Spot for Aging NFL Star

The Los Angeles Chargers have the makings of an NFL contender heading into a crucial 2026 season for head coach Jim Harbaugh and starting quarterback Justin Herbert. Neither has elevated the Chargers up to expectations yet and this could be the year they make it happen.

To do so, the Chargers will need more from their offense. In five of the final nine games, including the postseason, the Bolts failed to score 20 points or more. That's not going to cut it, and it speaks to a larger problem than the team's 16-3 Wild Card loss to the Patriots. They need more offense.
