Charlie Kolar undergoes surgery

Los Angeles Chargers TE Charlie Kolar (arm) underwent surgery Tuesday, Sept. 22, and is expected to return after a four-week injured reserve stint.

Why It Matters: With Kolar and David Njoku out, the Chargers are likely to make Oronde Gadsden a pivotal part of the offense at the tight end position. He could be a waiver wire target ahead of Week 3.
