Charlotte Bobcats jersey history No. 4 Kareem Rush 2004-2006

Kareem Rush, the older brother of former champion Brandon Rush, was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on draft night after being selected with the No. 20 overall pick (2002 NBA Draft) by the Toronto Raptors. Rush played 162 games for the Lakers over two and a half seasons before he was traded again, this time to the Charlotte Bobcats for the price of two second-round draft picks.

It was in Charlotte that Rush would enjoy the most successful stint of his seven-year NBA career. Rush spent 81 games with the Bobcats, averaging 10.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.2 blocks. After the 2005-06 season, Rush played overseas in Lithuania before returning to the NBA for three more seasons with three different franchises, those being the Pacers, 76ers and Clippers.
