Chauncey Billups Continues Push for Speedy Poker Trial

Chauncey Billups remains determined to go to trial as soon as possible.

On Thursday, federal attorneys in the rigged poker case sent a letter to Judge Ramon Reyes seeking to delay the trial in Billups's case from Nov. 2 to early 2027. Government prosecutors said seven defendants consented to the government's request while Billups's attorney and four others did not.
