Cincinnati Reds call up No. 16 prospect Carlos Jorge

The Cincinnati Reds are calling up 22-year-out outfielder Carlos Jorge from Triple-A Louisville, The Enquirer has confirmed.

The move was first reported by MLB Insider Mike Rodriguez.

Jorge, who will turn 23 later this month, is the Reds' No. 16 overall prospect, according to MLB Pipeline. Jorge signed with the Reds out of the Dominican Republic for $495,000 during the 2020-21 international signing period.
