Some recruits like to take their talents far from home to branch out of their comfort zone, but others like to know exactly what they're getting into.

Four-star defensive lineman Seth Tillman would appear to fall in the latter category, as the class of 2027 player will stay in-state after committing to Clemson.

Tillman plays his high school football at South Pointe in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and has rooted for Clemson for a long time.

"Clemson has been a school I've loved since I was a kid," Tillman told Rivals. "I've been going there since I was little. I've always loved Clemson. The people and the atmosphere have always felt like family."

Tillman chose his childhood favorite program over the likes of South Carolina, Georgia and Michigan.
