The Clippers announced they will host an Ohio State night at Huntington Park when they play against the St. Paul Saints on Friday, Sept. 18, the eve of the Ohio State football team's home game against Kent State.

While details of the theme's tie-in are still to be announced, the Clippers will wear Ohio State-style uniforms, which will also be available for purchase by fans.
There is a pre-sale over the weekend for fans looking to purchase the Clippers and Buckeyes collab jersey, which ends July 20 and guarantees shipping of the jersey before the Ohio State-themed night. The jerseys cost $110, and can be found here.

In 2025, the Clippers wore Blue Jackets-inspired jerseys in a 5-3 walk-off victory against the Pittsburgh Pirates' AAA affiliate on Sept. 4. Travis Bazzana, now the Cleveland Guardians All-Star second baseman, hit a two-run home run for the walk-off.

Ohio State athletics is no stranger to Huntington Park, either. The Ohio State baseball team played its first-ever regular-season game at Huntington Park against Michigan State on May 8, winning 15-5. Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin also stopped by in the spring and threw a first-pitch strike ahead of a home game versus the Iowa Cubs on April 14.
