Commanders to sign Van Jefferson to practice squad

Wide receiver Van Jefferson did not make the cut to the 53-man roster in Washington, but he's rejoining the Commanders ahead of their season opener.

According to multiple reports, Jefferson will sign with the team's practice squad. Jefferson initially signed with the team in March and was let go at the end of August.
