Complete Week 4 Gainesville area FHSAA high school football schedule

Welcome to Week 4 of the Gainesville-area FHSAA high school football season.

We knew heading into Week 3 with a less than stellar schedule that surprises, or lack thereof, would be in store. Buchholz won the city championship with ease over Eastside 49-7 to keep the Rams winless at 0-3. Columbia's defense once again shined in a win over Madison County to improve to 3-0, and Newberry used a late touchdown to upend state power Cocoa and win its first game of the season.
