Could Howe be Moyes' long-term successor at Everton?

Everton fan Matt Dillon says Eddie Howe may bide his time until David Moyes leaves the Toffees and then ensure his name is in contention to take over.

Howe - who is understood to have left his role at Newcastle on Thursday - has spoken about being a boyhood Everton fan, and Moyes has just one year remaining on his current deal at the club in what is his second spell in charge.
