Coveted receiver Briceson Thrower commits to Texas
The Texas Longhorns are building momentum already in the summer, securing a commitment from three-star receiver Briceson Thrower in the first weekend of June.
Fresh off a visit with the Texas Tech Red Raiders, the big-framed receiver made his commitment to the Longhorns. The 6-foot-3 pass catcher from North Forney High School had hats from Ohio State, Texas A&M, Illinois, and the Red Raiders on the table alongside the Texas hat, ultimately choosing the Longhorns.

Thrower is the second wide receiver commitment for Chris Jackson this cycle, joining New Orleans blue chipper Easton Royal in the class. The pair boast complementary skillsets, with Thrower already showing an ability to use his hands well and high-point the ball, a potential big target or red zone jump ball specialist.
