Crosscutters fall to Spikes, win second half pennant

STATE COLLEGE, PA (WBRE/WYOU)— The Williamsport Crosscutters lost to the State College Spikes 8-4 ahead of their Championship Game on Wednesday night against the Aberdeen IronBirds, but still won the second half pennant thanks to the Trenton Thunder defeating the IronBirds 12-4.

The Crosscutters got the scoring started with a solo shot in the second by Jack Kail, his third of the year, to give them a 1-0 lead.
