Davante Adams shreds Denver's secondary on Sunday night

Los Angeles Rams WR Davante Adams had seven receptions for 137 yards versus the Denver Broncos in Week 3. Adams was targeted a game-high 13 times.

Why It Matters: With Puka Nacua (groin) still unable to go, Adams again served as the primary option in LA's passing attack on Sunday night. And once again, he delivered. Just six days after lighting up the Giants for a 8-195-2 line, Adams made life miserable on Patrick Surtain II with 137 yards on seven receptions -- it could've been considerably more if Matthew Stafford hadn't misfired on a couple of balls where Adams had shaken Surtain. These last two games have proven that Adams can still produce like a WR1, both in the fantasy and NFL sense of the designation, but we'll have to wait and see what kind of regression we get when Nacua returns. Despite playing like a WR1 the past two games, Adams should be considered a WR2 until he shows he can put up similar numbers when Nacua is active.
