David Njoku, Charlie Kolar head to IR

Los Angeles Chargers tight ends Charlie Kolar (forearm) and David Njoku (fibula) were each placed on the reserve/injured list with a designation to return on Monday, Sept. 21.

Njoku suffered a fibula injury in the Week 2 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, while Kolar sustained a forearm injury in the second half of the same game. Both players will be forced to miss a minimum of four games, while tight end Oronde Gadsden II is the only healthy tight end on the 53-man roster.
