Details of Warde Manuel’s MASSIVE Michigan Buyout Revealed

Warde Manuel's final months at Michigan will come with a substantial price tag.

The longtime athletic director is set to receive a lump-sum payment of $7,143,346 after he resigns on Dec. 31, according to settlement details obtained by The Detroit News. Michigan also will contribute $108,000 toward his retirement, cover $82,000 in legal fees and extend retiree benefits that normally require 20 years of university service.
