Detroit Red Wings Sign Chase Stillman

The Detroit Red Wings continued to add organizational depth on Saturday, signing forward Chase Stillman to a one-year, two-way contract.

According to ESPN, the deal will pay Stillman $850,000 at the NHL level if he earns a spot on Detroit's roster. The 23-year-old became an unrestricted free agent after the Vancouver Canucks chose not to extend him a qualifying offer ahead of free agency.
