DFS - Fantasy Domination - Week 2
Week 1 is in the books. Many things played out as expected. Some teams surprised with defensive improvement (Cincinnati), while others expected to be defensive dynamos (Rams, Broncos and Texans) crumbled like a wet soda cracker. With only one week of data, we can't assume Week 1 performances are a trend or a mirage. Still, we must tread through the fog and try to glean the real (Jalen Coker) from the fake (Kalif Raymond).
As we prepare for Week 2, remember that stars like Ja'Marr Chase, Jaylen Waddle, and Colston Loveland didn't lose their immense talent overnight. Also remember that injuries at other positions can affect your player's performance (Omarion Hampton and Drake London). These anomalies will correct themselves. What do I expect will not fix itself easily? Certain things jump out instantly: the Bears' Swiss cheese secondary, the Panthers' ole' run defense and the Dolphins' lack of talent on either side of the ball.
