Ducati has established a €121 million (US$139.7 million) investment - including a non-repayable government grant worth €33.5 million (US$38.7 million) - to strengthen its research and development, and growth. The goal of the fund is to strengthen Ducati's global competitiveness and contribute to creating jobs in Italy's Motor Valley, a section of Emilia-Romagna that serves as home to the likes of Ducati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Pagani.

The investment includes €99 million (US$114.3 million) dedicated specifically for "expanding the product range through the introduction of innovative and sustainable technologies, as well as fostering the evolution of production processes." This €99 million includes the €33.5 million grant comes from the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, with Ducati supplying the rest.

The Italian Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, has authorised Invitalia to sign a Development Agreement proposed by Ducati for an industrial investment programme with a total value of €121 million.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening the Company's global competitiveness over the long term, confirming Ducati's role as a leading player in the international motorcycle industry while contributing to value creation for the local area, Italy's Motor Valley and the entire Italian industrial supply chain.

The industrial programme, named "Ducati Raise the Bar", includes a major technological and industrial investment plan by the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer, with a strong focus on the development of specialised expertise. At the heart of the project are industrial research and experimental development activities worth more than €99 million, aimed at expanding the product range through the introduction of innovative and sustainable technologies, as well as fostering the evolution of production processes.
