Duke basketball exhibition game vs Tennessee contract details

Duke basketball can generate more than $200,000 from its Oct. 20 exhibition game against Tennessee, according to documents obtained by the Knoxville News Sentinel, part of the USA TODAY Network.

The Blue Devils and Volunteers agreed to split revenue from their exhibition game at Cameron Indoor Stadium up to $400,000, with Duke retaining any revenue generated beyond that amount. Compensation must be made within 60 days of the game, according to the contract, which was signed by Duke athletic director Nina King and UT associate vice chancellor Kim McCullock and deputy athletic director Marshall Steward in May.
