Eagles bring back DT Gabe Hall to the practice squad

The Philadelphia Eagles are bringing back a familiar defensive lineman after a brief absence. Philadelphia announced Wednesday that it signed defensive tackle Gabe Hall to the practice squad. Hall returns nine days after the Eagles released him while creating room for other additions.

The 25-year-old initially joined Philadelphia as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor in 2024. At 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds, Hall possesses the length and athletic traits to line up at multiple spots along the defensive front. He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.03 seconds at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. Hall appeared in two regular-season games for the Eagles in 2025 but did not record a tackle. He remained with the organization through the offseason and returned to compete for a roster spot during training camp.
