Eagles Underrated Asset Considered Trade Candidate After AJ Brown Deal
It's been a rather busy week for the Philadelphia Eagles after moving on from AJ Brown, and there still seems to be a feeling that Howie Roseman isn't done just yet.
Whether that's going out to make a blockbuster move for an edge rusher, attempting to make a trade for a smaller piece, or even moving on from some other guys on his roster who could make an impact on other teams, Roseman never takes his foot off the gas.

Among his assets, one of the more interesting could be Tanner McKee.
McKee, who isn't the best quarterback in the NFL by any means, is a very serviceable backup and, in the right organization, could potentially be a starter. There has been a feeling over the past seven or eight months that he could get traded. According to the latest from Bleacher Report, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Eagles move on from him, with multiple teams already showing interest in the backup quarterback.
“The Philadelphia Eagles may not be done making moves. Quarterback Tanner McKee isn't a headline name, but the Eagles have a high price on his trade value. According to ESPN's Rich Cimini (h/t Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski), the New York Jets inquired about McKee's availability, and the Eagles demanded a second-round pick for him. Based on the Eagles' absurdly steep price for a quarterback who's started in two Week 18 games with backups, they would prefer to keep him around.

If the Eagles want to develop the rookie signal-caller behind Jalen Hurts and Dalton, they should drop their asking price for McKee to make a deal. Philadelphia may be able to get a fifth- or sixth-round pick for McKee, which is more than reasonable with his small-sample resume,” Moe Moton wrote.
I know it might sound crazy because he's a backup quarterback, but I would not make this move if I were the Eagles. The last thing Philadelphia wants is for Jalen Hurts to go down without a serviceable backup. Not that Andy Dalton can't be decent, but McKee is probably the better player at this stage of his career.
