Eddie’s Nephew Andy Howe Leaves Recruitment Role At Newcastle

Newcastle United have parted company with senior football executive Andy Howe, the nephew of former head coach Eddie Howe, as the club continues to reshape its recruitment structure under new head coach Matthias Jaissle and sporting director Ross Wilson.

The departure was reported on Monday, with Andy Howe understood to have left the club after around five years working within Newcastle's scouting and recruitment department. His exit comes less than two months after Eddie Howe stepped down as Newcastle head coach and follows the recent departure of long-serving head of recruitment Steve Nickson.
