Edison football outlasts Unatego/Franklin, Saturday scoreboard

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) - Saturday's local high school football slate wrapped up with four hard fought games.

Edison, Tioga, and Canton each found the win column on Saturday, battling through thrilling matchups. New York's 3rd-ranked Spartans outlasted Unatego/Franklin in a wild 48-44 dual in the 8-Man division. Edison rolled into the half with a 36-16 advantage, before Unatego rallied with a pair of 3rd quarter scores.
