The trade value for every player in the NFL truly varies on a week-to-week basis. For most players, they can see their value rise and fall the way the sun does, but some break through that mold and are able to secure themselves at the top of the proverbial ladder.

ESPN recently reviewed the trade value of the top stars on every NFL team. For the Vikings, ESPN's Bill Barnwell looked at the value of a handful of players. At the top of the mountain, in terms of value and talent, it is wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

Barnwell believes he is worth a minimum of two first-round picks, giving him more value than most in the NFL.

"He is coming off his worst season as a pro, but I think it seems fair to point at super inconsistent quarterback play as the biggest factor for Jefferson's dip. We're now firmly in his peak seasons as a 27-year-old, but if the Vikings ever did move on from their star wide receiver, there would be no shortage of interest in a player who still has to be considered one of the four best wideouts in football."

Even with coming off what is the worst year of his career, Jefferson's talent remains unmatched. Now, while he is mentioned, the Vikings have no interest at this time in trading Jefferson. And if we are being honest, would two first-round picks even get the deal done? Not likely.

But it is a good starting point if the worst case scenario for Vikings fans were to arise.
