Until Monday, five planes and two helicopters from the Czech Republic, Croatia, Portugal, Slovakia and Sweden were deployed to France, the European Commission said.
Two helicopters from Germany and two planes from Turkey are also expected.

The support was organized and funded through the bloc's crisis response mechanism, the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
"No country should ever have to face a disaster of this scale alone," said EU Crisis Commissioner Hadja Lahbib.
"To the people of France and Spain: Europe will stand with you until the fires are out," she said.
