Eve Muirhead, curling legend, ends 4-year retirement

Eve Muirhead, who brought Olympic curling gold home to the sport's birthplace in Scotland in 2022, is ending a four-year retirement to bid for the 2030 Alps Winter Olympics in France.

"Four years ago, I didn't know if I would retire, and then I did. I thought it was the best decision I've ever made," she said, according to Team GB. "But I now realize that once you get a bit fed up of something, you need to take a step to the side, put it to bed for a while and eventually the love will come back for it. That is what happened for me."
