Folds of Honor Friday at the Sanford International

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- The opening round of the Sanford International has been dubbed Folds of Honor Friday, paying tribute to those lost on 9/11, along with the service members and first responders who protect our country.

Folds of Honor is a nonprofit that provides scholarships to children and spouses of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders. The organization was founded by F-16 fighter pilot Lieutenant Colonel Dan Rooney in 2007.
